Munch Nights

The Vancouver Munch hosts a munch on the second Tuesday of every month. The munch typically runs from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with people arriving and departing throughout the evening.

As with most other munches, the Vancouver Munch meets at a public restaurant. Unlike many other munches, however, the Vancouver Munch meets in its own private room. Our room accommodates up to 80 people and is separated from the rest of the restauraunt by a set of double doors. This privacy affords us the freedom to openly discuss virtually any topic, kink-related or not. We are a pansexual group and have discussed pretty much anything and everything. We hope you will also feel free to share your thoughts with us.

At the Vancouver Munch we encourage everyone to wear a name tag. The wearing of name tags allows us to better get to know one another, displays our orientations and desires, and helps the wait staff to identify us. In addition to the name you wish to be known as (an alias is perfectly acceptable), you can have pretty much anything you would like on your tag, including graphics, personal interests and what you may be seeking. In order to more easily identify our general orientation we have adopted this color scheme: black for Top/Dominant, red for bottom/submissive, green for switch, and blue for undecided. We provide sticky labels and markers for newcomers to make their own name tags. For those who have decided to continue attending we offer permanent, laminated name tags.

Also, we ask our guests to remember that the restaurant outside our private room is still a public space. While not in our private room be sure to speak and dress vanilla, as you would in any public setting. Also, please remove your name tag when leaving our room. We wish to avoid non-consensually exposing vanilla patrons to potentially kinky subject matter. This includes trips to the restroom, visiting the front desk, going outside for a smoke, or even just running out to your car to get something.
